Version 2026-11-02-draft

Who you are dealing with

Second Brain at brain.milgrom.ca is run by Milgrom Consulting inc., incorporated in Ontario, Canada. Corporate address: 56A Mill St E., Acton, ON L7J 1H3. Contact: [PLACEHOLDER: legal contact email address].

The private beta

Second Brain is by invitation only and still being built. It can change or stop. Download your brain regularly (Account → Download ZIP): that is your own copy. [PLACEHOLDER: price, if any, and notice before the beta ends]

What you may store

Connected AIs can read your brain

When you connect an AI app (for example Claude or ChatGPT), it can read every page in your brain and can save notes to your inbox and suggest changes. It can't edit or delete pages by itself: changes wait for your approval. The company behind that app handles what it reads under its own terms, not these. Don't store anything you wouldn't share with them, and turn off model training in each app. You choose which apps to connect, and you can disconnect them at any time.

If you use your own Anthropic key to process imported chats, those chats go to Anthropic under your own account's terms, and you pay Anthropic for that use.

Not professional advice

Second Brain stores your notes and passes them to the AI apps you choose. Neither it nor what those AIs say is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. AIs make mistakes: check what matters with a qualified person.

Your content

Your content stays yours. We use it only to run the service for you, as the Privacy policy describes. We don't use it to train AI models. Anything that arrives from imports or AI apps is treated as your data, not as instructions to the service.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time (Account → Delete your account). The Privacy policy says what happens to your data then and when it leaves backups. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service or other people. [PLACEHOLDER: notice period, confirmed by the reviewer]

Availability and responsibility

The beta is offered as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Backups of pages run daily, so up to 24 hours of changes can be lost in a restore. Images and PDFs you add are not in those backups: Download ZIP includes them, so keep your own copy of anything you can't replace. [PLACEHOLDER: warranty and liability wording, supplied by the reviewer]

Changes and governing law

If these terms change, the dashboard asks you to accept the new version the next time you open it. Connected apps keep working until then. [PLACEHOLDER: governing law and venue]
